Bits & Pretzels Founders Festival: Digital Innovation meets “Gemütlichkeit"

A start up success story itself, Bits & Pretzels which is only 2 years old, started as a local breakfast networking event of Munich Start-ups and has grown at warp speed into a trendsetting platform for global digital business and emerging technology entrepreneurs and savvy investors.
It is essentially “THE” place to be to learn and share knowledge, jam on ideas and make valuable connections... not to mention to take in some of the world class Munich “Gemütlichkeit" or “hospitality” and culture.

The city of sciene: International pathology community in Cologne [sp]

From 25 to 29 September, the place to be for the international pathology community is Cologne. For the first time the International Congress of the International Academy of Pathology (IAP) – a joint venture with the European Society of Pathology (ESP) – is taking place in the city. 450 speakers will cover all aspects of the priority theme chosen for the Congress: Pathology, Guiding and Monitoring Therapy. Over one hundred exhibitors from the field of diagnostics and therapy are on hand to showcase their services in a 1,124 sqm exhibition space. A private organ concert in Cologne Cathedral, guided tours around the city and an evening closing event at the riverside club Tanzbrunnen will round off the Congress agenda for 4,500 delegates.
