SmartBeam Octo & FiberFlex Ultra
The ever-growing volume of traffic on data superhighways also impacts on mobile environments.

In response, we designed our new FiberFlex Ultra F8UM11 8x FO cable to cope with these new demands.

To ensure the cable offers data throughput to match, we used the new-generation SmartBeam Octo with eight (!) lenses to make up the FiberFlex Ultra.

This enables transfer rates of 8x10 Gb/s to be reached – ideal for connecting complex networked systems for outside broadcast units or for linking mobile studios.

Fiberflex Ultra F8UM11 takes us to the heart of the digital future!

KLOTZ AIS launches its own XLR connector
As a leading cable manufacturer in the consumer and ProAVM sectors with 35 years of experience in the business, KLOTZ AIS GmbH makes up 10 million metres of bulk cable with over one million connectors per year to produce its premium cables.

Given this, the next stage is only logical: in future, KLOTZ cables in the GREYHOUND, M1, M2 and M5 series, as well as our AES/EBU cable AES3K and DMX cable DMX5K, will also be made up with our own XLR connectors.

The practical ergonomic features, durable two-component material and unique design of the connectors are the ideal complement to our cables.

Simplex Ultra patch cable
Our new FiberLink Ultra Simplex FO-PMCC is the ideal solution for patching applications in FO environments.

The two-layer coating is developed for maximum flexibility, with 500 μm primary coating and 900 µm tight buffered fiber layers, and protects the conductor from external influences. With ultra-rugged PUR outer jacket and loss-proof dust protector caps, the cable easily copes with the challenges of outdoor use.

Available in a range of lengths from
0.3 to 10 m, it can master any situation –
from ring installations in large-scale MADI applications to single path connections such as recording backups.

Namm Show 2016 - résumé
What a blast!
The sensational NAMM Show 2016 is over! Huge thanks go to everybody who visited our booth. As well as many of our sales partners and dealers from all over the world, that included lots of famous names, among them Nathan East, One Direction, Walk Off The Earth, Jordan Rudess, Max Cavalera, Stephen Gibb, Jessica Lynn & Band, Hannah Holbrook, Final Drive, Richard Bravo (Juanez).

They were intense days packed with feedback, discussions, and conversations – plus plenty of after-show fun. The most important thing we took away with us?
USA is ready for KLOTZ Cables!
See you next year - because when one NAMM ends, another NAMM is just around the corner!
