KLOTZ Newsletter December 2017
Dear readers,

‘Tis the season to be jolly, the air is filled with the scent of mulled wine and cinnamon, and Christmas is just around the corner. Everyone is looking forward to taking the time to relax, enjoy the holidays and recharge their batteries with family and friends – and at KLOTZ, we’re no exception. But before we sign off for the festive season, here's a final round-up of our last new products for this year.

The world of cables has a bewildering language all of its own. But there’s help at hand from our new KLOTZ Cable Guide, a handy glossary available on our website!

There’s no doubt that Joe Bonamassa is definitely the greatest blues man of the modern age. He’s always had a keen ear for superb sound. In an in-depth video on our Home page, he talks about his partnership with KLOTZ and how he came to design his own signature cable.

Marco Wriedt’s axe style has been described by expert journalists as the most fluid and assured playing heard here in a long while. He’s relied on the support of KLOTZ Cables for the past ten years in his current band, 21Octayne, and all his other projects. Welcome to the KLOTZ family!

We regularly attend all the major trade shows to build networks of contacts, open up new markets and receive important feedback. Our “Signal Masters World Tour” will continue in 2018, taking us to Frankfurt, L.A., Moscow …

We hope you enjoy reading our newsletter

Joe Bonamassa interview
Joe Bonamassa on KLOTZ cables!
The Blues Superstar talks about the importance of using quality cables

There’s no doubt that Joe Bonamassa is THE blues man of the modern age.

He has a keen ear for superb sound, plays only the finest vintage guitars, and uses his own signature cable from KLOTZ.

Many years ago, Gerald Weber from Kendrick Amps gave Joe a few KLOTZ cables. Joe put the cables through their paces on the stage and in the studio – and was hooked. Joe’s buddy Thomas Weilbier, from the No.  1 Guitar Center in Hamburg (where those stunning vintage guitars come from), set up the contact to KLOTZ… and the rest is history.

Joe Bonamassa has been playing with his signature cable for seven years. He takes it along wherever he goes – at home, at concerts all over the world, and in the studio. And it’s never failed him! “You know, it’s been such a good relationship over the years. The importance of a high-quality cable is the equivalent to having a really nice car with bald tyres. If you have bad tyres on a really nice car, you’re not going to go very far…”

Marco Wriedt: welcome to the KLOTZfamily!

His band 21Octayne has been tipped as something very special in the making, and Marco’s axe style has been described as the most fluid and assured playing heard here in a long while.

Marco Wriedt started playing guitar at the age of 10 and turned pro at 19. Since then, his life has spanned tours, studios, exhibition showcases, workshops and stellar profiles in top guitar magazines.

German broadcaster WDR devoted a TV feature to this outstanding musician in its “Lokalzeit” programme. Marco Wriedt has a long-standing connection to KLOTZ Cables; LaGrange cables have been his constant companions along every musical path he’s taken.

Welcome to the KLOTZ Family!
