| Falling Walls Lab Kathmandu 2024 | | | | |
|
|
The first ever Falling Walls Lab in Nepal took place on 20 July 2024. Co-organised by the DAAD Regional Office New Delhi and the Kathmandu University, it took place at the KU School of Management. Top ten applicants, all from Nepal, were selected as finalists for the pitching contest. They were offered a short training and they were all set to pitch. The winner of the Falling Walls Lab Kathmandu 2024 was Frienson Pradhan of Kathmandu University with the idea 'Breaking the Wall of Pestilence: From Invasive Weed to Eco-Friendly Mosquito Control'. He will participate in the finale of the Falling Walls Lab in Berlin in November this year. The winner in 2nd place was Anjana Tamang, Tribhuvan University and the winner in 3rd place was Gaurav Adhikari, Tribhuvan University. Anup Godar, Kathmandu University, won the audience choice award. | | | | | | |
