Dear DAAD-Alumni, The DAAD Regional Office New Delhi, in cooperation with the DAAD Regional Office Jakarta, is delighted to announce next round of the International Web Talk Series 2026 - Alumni for SDG to be held from 13 – 14 July 2026. DAAD invites submission of paper/presentation for the upcoming web talks on the overarching topic of “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence to Advance SDG 15: Life on Land” addressing the following thematic tracks: • AI Technologies for Terrestrial Ecosystems • AI for Biodiversity Conservation The two-day virtual sessions will provide a platform for DAAD and Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) alumni to showcase their research, engage in interdisciplinary discussions, and contribute to global solutions for sustainability. Additionally, it offers valuable opportunities for networking and fostering future academic or research collaborations within the alumni community. Who Can Apply? Former scholarship holders of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) or Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) from the South Asia region (India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka) as well as from the Southeast Asia region (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam) are eligible to apply by submitting an abstract via the link below (also given in the attached call for papers/presentations.)
