|
Dear DAAD-Alumni, The DAAD Regional Office New Delhi warmly invites alumni of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) and Germany alumni from India and South Asia (Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka) to register and participate in the Thematic Germany Alumni Clusters – India and South Asia (2026) and join the relevant kick-off events. The clusters will be organised around four overarching subject areas. The themes are: • Engineering: AI and the Future of Engineering • Agricultural and Ecological Sciences: Sustainable Agriculture and Emerging Green Careers • Natural Sciences • Management, Humanities and Social Sciences This initiative aims to establish and strengthen subject-specific thematic alumni clusters (not formal associations) as platforms for networking, knowledge exchange, academic collaboration and regional cooperation among alumni with shared professional and research interests. If you are interested in becoming part of a (long-term) thematic alumni network aligned with your academic and professional expertise, we invite you to complete a brief survey given below outlining your academic background, professional experience, and research expertise in the selected thematic area: Register for Clusters: https://www.daad.de/surveys/667429?lang=en The participants for the kick-off events (taking place in September & October 2026) will be selected based on the information provided in the survey. Seats for kick-offs are limited and on first-cum-first-basis. Kindly fill in the survey at the earliest. Registration for these events will close once seats are filled. However you can still remain a part of the relevant Thematic Alumni Cluster. | | | | | | |
