DAAD Scholarship Certificate Handover in the Region & Upcoming Scholarships!!! | | | | |

|
The DAAD is the world’s largest funding agency with focus on mobility funding. Many scholars and students move between Germany and other countries of the world with DAAD scholarships.
The DAAD Regional Office New Delhi, together with its branch offices in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka organised scholarship award handing over ceremonies with the German Embassies and Consulates in the South-Asian region (photos above).
Upcoming DAAD scholarships:
1. DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme (Master’s Scholarship for Public Policy and Good Governance – PPGG): Application deadline: 31 Jul 2026

2. Doctoral Programmes in Germany: Application deadline: 21 Oct 2026
For pursuing PhD in Germany.
3. Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees (Cotutelle): Application deadline: 21 Oct 2026
For PhD candidates registered in home country and jointly supervised by the home university and a German university
4. Research Grants in Germany: Application deadline: 7 Oct 2026
These grants typically support research stays of 2–12 months for doctoral candidates and shorter stays for postdoctoral researchers.
