DAAD in Kathmandu and Colombo
|
|
DAAD in Kathmandu and Colombo! From 5–8 May, Team DAAD will be in Kathmandu, visiting leading institutions such as Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University and Nepal University. Engagements with partner organisations like German Embassy Kathmandu, Goethe-Zentrum Kathmandu and interactions with Germany alumni are also planned, which will create valuable opportunities for meaningful exchange between DAAD and local institutions. The final day will feature the Falling Walls Lab at the Kathmandu University, where 14 finalists who have identified pressing challenges in their respective fields will present practical, innovative and well-structured solutions before a distinguished jury and audience. At the end of month, the DAAD delegation will visit Colombo, where a similar programme of university visits, institutional meetings, Falling Walls Lab and networking engagements is planned. These interactions aim to strengthen academic partnerships further, encourage dialogue, and open up new avenues for collaboration and student mobility between Germany and Sri Lanka.
