International Newsletter
November 2018
Dear Sir or Madam,

Through digitalization and Industry 4.0, the demand for individual products will increase on the one hand, but on the other will change the world of employment and production. These topics, among others, will be discussed at the Hofer Vliesstofftage (Hof Nonwovens Days). Also, product and process innovations, new procedures and application areas from the field of nonwovens will be presented at this important event.

In 2017, nonwovens production in Europe increased in volume by 4.3% to 2.5 million tons with a turnover of €7.9 billion (+5.6%). This trend seems to be continuing. The primary main end-use for nonwovens continues to be the hygiene market, with a 29.8% market share by weight. Other growth areas for nonwovens are medical, automotive and electronic materials.

Get informed and enjoy the read.

Kind regards
