Dear Sir or Madam,

The Notre Dame fire was a further demonstration to us all of the importance of fire protection. We have compiled a list of the fire protection measures you should be aware of. And our award-winning GC 170 wireless extension for hold-open systems shows how easy retro-fitting and installation can be. Speaking of easy: BIM makes fire protection and building planning not only easier, but also more efficient. You may now be asking yourself: who or what is BIM? Read on, and see what BIM is all about!

All the best,

Gabi Bauer

Award-winning: smart window
Our congratulations to 11-year-old Nick Pfeiffer whose GEZE-supported research project "The intelligent window" took "second place special award for interdisciplinary projects" in the Baden-Württemberg state Jugend forscht (Youth researches) competition. We think it's a fantastic project, and quite remarkable to see how cleverly Nick has further developed his intelligent window with a smart carbon monoxide alert.
