| Starting with the good news: INTERGEO 2020 will take place. Even though we are aware that a different INTERGEO will await us than the one you have known from previous years. Due to Corona, the circumstances are particularly challenging this year. However, we are optimistic that INTERGEO will be the first industry event that will once again allow personal networking this autumn.

| For the first time, in addition to INTERGEO 2020 in Berlin, there will be a digital representation of the event. EXPO or CONFERENCE, the personal exchange. Everything of your interest at INTERGEO will be digitally feasible.
The tickets for October, which you can book as of today, will therefore remain fully valid. Even if you are unable to travel to Berlin due to continuing travel restrictions or quarantine regulations, we would like to invite you to experience INTERGEO Expo and Conference as a digital event.

| | The economic stimulus package for coping with the economic consequences of the Corona crisis focuses on digitalization, climate change and infrastructure expansion.
These are also topics of this year's INTERGEO. We will discuss the possible contributions that geodesy and geoinformation can offer. Whether for climate protection, the digitalization of the construction industry or contributions to strengthening the resilience of our cities through increasingly smart developments.
We believe that it is important and necessary to discuss this intensively now.

A catalogue of measures based on the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute has been defined to provide the best possible protection for all trade fair participants. These will be implemented at INTERGEO in coordination with Messe Berlin and the relevant health authorities.
