| Fast production test of UV-LEDs | |

| Numerous applications, for example in the medical area or in material testing, are based on precisely specified UV radiation. For UV-B and UV-C emitters, the measurement of their spectrum between 325 nm down to 200 nm is generally only possible with extended measurement times due to their low radiant flux. As such, a condition for fast testing within production is high reliability in conjunction with high optical throughput of all participating system components. Within its well-established CAS-series of premium spectroradiometers over many years, Instrument Systems has developed a novel series-type CAS 140D-157. This new system measures precisely and reliably not only within the visible spectrum, but also in the UV. Coupled with a PTFE-coated integrating sphere, the system permits for fast 24/7 production tests of UV emitters to be run.

| Which parameters define a high quality display? What kind of material is used for the coating of an integrating sphere? Answers to these and similar questions were the focus of the light measurement seminar given by Instrument Systems. For the fourth time in a row the two-day seminar took place in Munich, Germany. Again in the same high quality, the training program appealed to a wide range of participants by covering basic topics as well as current innovations in LED and display light measurement. Various speakers from Instrument Systems as well as the display specialist Dr. M.E. Becker provided a comprehensive assessment of technological know-how and presented state-of-the-art technologies in light measurement using a variety of application examples. Different measurement systems were showcased for practical reference followed by discussions of their operating modes in small groups. All participants found the seminar to be extremely useful for their professional activities. We are more than pleased to fulfill our participants‘ call to offer the seminar on a regular basis and to further broaden the spectrum of current topics. We like to thank all participants and speakers for turning our seminar into a success and are looking forward to continue this event in the next year. For those who have not been able to attend, we refer to our Handbook of LED and SSL Metrology, which you can request from our sales team. Free Download of Chapter 1-3:
