“Never pass up the chance of a party” is great advice –but there are some occasions that are truly worthy of celebration. 6 July 2018 ticked all the boxes! The hot and sunny Friday was perfect for our legendary summer party, and for the inauguration of our new production facility at the Vilchband plant near Würzburg. Two great reasons to let our hair down! Many friends of Klotz joined our employees to party the night away and enjoy delicious food and drinks.
After debuting at the 2018 NAMM Show, our new DX10 Passive DI Box is now available from retailers. Our new member of the “direct injection” family features a new design and superb quality parts. Please note that we are taking a short summer break from 30 July to 10 August 2018 inclusive. Our offices will be closed during this time.

Summer festival 2018 & inauguration of the new production facility
At the legendary KLOTZ Summer Party, a musical treat was provided by KLOTZ artist Jessica Lynn and her band. Lynn is hailed as the new shooting star of country in her homeland of the USA, and a worthy successor to Shania Twain. Luckily she and her band happened to be on a European tour, and were persuaded to make a detour away from the big city lights to play for us!
But 6 July 2018 was not only the date of the summer party – it also heralded the opening of our new production facility at our Vilchband premises. Managing Director Dieter Klotz couldn’t resist giving guests an in-depth guided tour and explaining the cable production process. The new extension to our premises will ensure KLOTZ is fit for the future. By merging cable cutting and assembly operations, we have been able to introduce numerous improvements in our processes and workflows, and doubled our production capacity as a result. We’re making sure that KLOTZ will continue to be synonymous with Made in Germany quality in the future!

Launch of the NEW passive DI box: DX10
The long wait is over, and our new DX10 DI Box is finally here! First unveiled to the music world at the 2018 NAMM Show, the latest addition to our DI family is now available from retailers.
The DX10 naturally has an array of the finest features anyone could wish for in such an essential live and studio performance assistant. We poured over 30 years of experience from our KLOTZ DI Boxes into the new model. The ultra-rugged housing was redesigned, and only the finest components were good enough.
The heart of any DI box is the transformer. The transformer in the DX10 is an all-new in-house development that brings together all our expertise and experience. It is made from mu-metal, a soft magnetic alloy with outstanding magnetic permeability. In practice, that means incredible sound quality and clean, clear sound – no more fuzz or distortion!
The DX10 marks the launch of a whole new generation of KLOTZ DI boxes. Stay tuned!
