NewsletterDecember 2019
Dear Newsletter Subscriber,

In the last issue of our newsletter in 2019, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for the excellent cooperation. Despite global economic tension, we can look back at a successful year and are already looking forward to continuing working closely with you in 2020.

If you want to contact us over the holidays, please take note of our opening times: We are taking a break for Christmas from 23 December 2019 to 01 January 2020. Pickups are only possible up to and including 20 December 2019. From 02 January 2020, we will be available again as usual.

But we don’t want to say goodbye to 2019 just yet: in this newsletter you’ll discover everything about the latest developments in our company and receive useful, practical know-how for your day-to-day work. We have also revamped our productnews with a new look. This is where you’ll find an overview of products that we have recently added to our range.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a successful end to the year, a peaceful Christmas and a good start to 2020.

Your Motorservice Team

First steel pistons for passenger cars for the aftermarket
Kolbenschmidt is a pioneer in the development of steel pistons for use in passenger car engines – a technology that has become well established in modern engine manufacture. A steel piston has numerous advantages over an aluminium piston, including a reduction in friction, weight and fuel consumption. We are now bringing this technology from our sister company to the aftermarket.

Modern solutions for a sound fuel system
The fuel system of a car is unable to supply the fuel reliably, provide the precise dose or burn the fuel in the best way unless all of the components are functioning properly. This is why damage should be repaired as soon as possible. We offer corresponding spare parts and useful special tools.

New repair kits for hoses and lines
We have expanded our offering: In addition to a repair kit for fuel lines, we now also offer sets for air conditioning lines, compressed air lines and coolant hoses for passenger cars and utility vehicles.

Pierburg water pumps for the aftermarket
Electrical CWA-type water pumps contribute to reducing emissions in modern engine designs. They are also used for the cooling of alternative drives, such as in hybrid and electric vehicles, and in future developments of fuel cell drives.
