If you want to contact us over the holidays, please take note of our opening times. But we don’t want to say goodbye to 2019 just yet: in this newsletter you’ll discover everything about our special material P141, which is particularly suitable for use in high-pressure injection pumps and as guide elements in shock absorbers. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a successful end to the year, a peaceful Christmas and a good start to 2020.
We hope you find our information useful. Petra Mayerhöffer Senior Manager Sales Industry MS Motorservice Deutschland GmbH

| | | | | | | Joy – the Ultimate Christmas Gift: Donating to Diakonie Stette | | For the thirteenth year in a row, instead of sending gifts, MS Motorservice Deutschland GmbH has made a Christmas donation to local social welfare organisation Diakonie Stetten. This year we donated €3,500 to sponsor INEZ, the equine therapy horse at the organisation's riding school. Our aim is to promote and support the charity’s work with disabled and disadvantaged people over the long term. The riding school is home not just to horses but also chickens and a host of other small creatures, offering people with various degrees of disability a chance to work with animals. Workers at the riding school even make the animals’ food, ensuring their much-loved menagerie is well cared for in every way. Equine therapy can make a big difference to the cognitive and social development of both children and adults as well as improving their sensorimotor skills. And judging by the beaming faces we saw during our visit, the sheer joy of horse riding is like all your Christmases coming at once!

| | | | | | KS P141 has been designed for a wide range of applications. It is especially effective when used in liquid-lubricated systems with a high degree of mixed friction. KS P141 features a low coefficient of friction, excellent emergency running properties and high resistance to flow erosion. Plain bearings made of KS P141 are particularly suitable for use in high-pressure injection pumps and as guide elements in shock absorbers.

| | | | | | KS PERMAGLIDE® plain bearings: proportional solenoid | | Proportional solenoids are electromagnetic actuators for small strokes. They convert electrical energy into proportional mechanical energy. Bearing with KS PERMAGLIDE® P14 plain bearing bushes In the process, KS PERMAGLIDE® P14 plain bearings guide the rotor at a very low bearing clearance. The plain bearing must possess a low and, above all, consistent friction coeicient over the course of the entire operating life in order to minimise energy loss and keep the hysteresis low. The ferromagnetic characteristic of the steel back is also significant. Due to the antistatic characteristic of the KS PERMAGLIDE® P14, there is no electrical charging through which dust could be drawn in.
