Newsletter January 2020
Dear Newsletter Subscriber,
in this newsletter you’ll discover everything about plain bearings made of our special material P210 – P213, which are particularly suitable for use in high-pressure injection pumps, hydro-engines or high-performance gear units.
We will show you why the plain bearings of KS PERMAGLIDE® P10 fit perfect for locking mechanism parts on semitrailers.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a good start to 2020.
We hope you find our information useful.

Special material P210 – P213
Sonderwerkstoff KS PERMAGLIDE® P210
Plain bearings made of KS P210 – KS P213 are particularly suited for use in tribological systems with minimum lubrication or for hydrodynamic systems with high rates of mixed friction such as, for example, high-pressure injection pumps, hydro-engines or high-performance gear units. They excel by extremely low wear even at high temperatures and very good chemical resistance. Plain bearings made with a machining allowance can be reworked by chipping. This way, any misalignments can be equaled out and closer bearing plays adjusted.

KS PERMAGLIDE® plain bearings: Locking mechanism parts on semitrailers with KS PERMAGLIDE® cylindrical plain bearing bush design PAP … P10
Anwendung Sattelkupplung
The fifth-wheel coupling connects the trailer of a semitrailer with the towing vehicle with a secure but rotatable connection. The fifth-wheel coupling is subjected to impacts, vibrations, dirt and moisture during travel.
Bearing of the locking mechanism parts with KS PERMAGLIDE® P10 plain bearing bushes
For the bearing in the fifthwheel coupling, plain bearings must be robust and highly stressable and work smoothly even if the fifth-wheel coupling is not used frequently. For the bearing, KS PERMAGLIDE® P10 plain bearing bushes are pressed into the locking mechanism parts. The KS PERMAGLIDE® plain bearings work reliably and smoothly even under difficult operating conditions over the entire service life. The plain bearings are protected from corrosion and are subjected to extremely low levels of wear. The axes are made from steel – using KS PERMAGLIDE® plain bearing bushes means that no tribocorrosion occurs.
