Bearing with KS PERMAGLIDE® P20 plain bearing bushes
High bay lift trucks transport pallets or receptacles in high bay warehouses between the shelves and the picking stations. They are used in normal temperatures, but also in refrigerated warehouses down to temperatures of -30°C.

Unlike a cylindrical pipe section, wrapped bushes are produced from a level section of material through shaping. They therefore feature a joint that may be open when free. The wrapped bush only has a closed joint and the required dimensional and contouring accuracy after it has been pressed into the bearing housing. Before mounting, the outside and inside diameter of wrapped bushes can only be measured using special test methods and testing devices.

The use of materials for technical products is regulated in various directives. These directives set limit values for materials which pose a risk to helath or the enviroment, and which are used in industrial applications.
KS PERMAGLIDE® plain bearings are available made from materials which conform to these directives.
